Centuries of dishonesty
False hope and philosophy
To stand for nothing but their own greed
To only have one mouth to feed
A single soul cannot save our world
Yet, unity is far from reaching its goal
Discrepancies will separate
So forget the hate that we once made
An expectation of a fruitful way to live
Leaves will sway in the blowing of the wind
and yet corrosive words scald my mind
Disdainful devastation has revived.
Flourishing in a world of discontent
Thriving only on our resentment.
Smoldering ashes may be all that we have left
but we will make the best of what we have.
If only truth be known and the lies are lost
If only pure prevails, and the liars rot
I will not accept what they bring forth to me
When justice is free, and dispersed to all
When the leaders rejoice, and corruption falls,
What a glorious hour that would come to be.
But with a new rise, of the young and the bright
The vision of the future one cannot deprive
new breezes will dust the dirt from the floor
as a new generation will come to take hold
with determination, strength, and courage
with dedication, purity, and knowledge.
If enmity and rancor can burn our hearts,
Compassion and wisdom can heal its wounds.
If you were asked to put together all the pieces of the world,
Which strategy would you use?
Your knowledge of the world, or the trial and error method?
Let’s face it, not all of us know where all the pieces go
We seem to think good things happen only where we reside,
And in the places we’re familiar with
But what about the small piece of land beyond the horizon?
Some of us are unaware of the world across the sea
A map is the only proof of its existence
We don’t recognize the significance of every nation
That is, until a piece goes missing
That’s when we will discover that this world is not our world
Until the missing piece is found and united with the rest
Once all the pieces of the puzzle are joined together,
Only then will we realize that we can’t have a complete world
Without the presence of every single piece

แม้จะต่างคนต่างเชื้อชาติต่างศาสนา
แต่เราก็ได้เกิดมาอยู่ร่วมกันในโลกใบเล็กๆใบหนึ่ง
